Recently, I was asked by Paperless Post campaign to describe my ideal brunch event; which I was happy to do.
After some pondering on what to write. I decided that I would make this an Autumn themed post since the Summer is nearly over.
So, I present to you, my ideal (Autumn) brunch.
Let’s begin with my invitations.
I am a stationary addict. I love stationary of all kinds. So, picking Invitations would be a fun task for me.
So, it was to my absolute joy that I discovered that Paperless Post has several customizable invitation options that cover a whole range of events. These options include both electronic and paper format.
Personally, I feel that invitations are the first glimpse that your guests will receive of your party. As such, I feel that they should complement the party’s theme. So, with some customization, I feel that the “Farmer’s Market Brunch” invitation would suit my purpose perfectly; it has that rustic feel to it that I love.
Location & Decor
I love the crisp, Autumn air. Therefore, I would definitely want my brunch to be outdoors. Preferably at a farm; I believe the fall colours, as well as a country barn, would make the perfect backdrop.
As for decor, I would tend to stick to a simple, yet, classy style. I don’t enjoy being overwhelmed by decorations.
I am a huge fan of buffets; I think that they are the greatest. So, I would have my brunch buffet style. I would include items like pastries, muffins, fruit salad, sausages, bacon, eggs, and pumpkin spice waffles.
As for beverages, I would serve Pumpkin Ginger Mimosas. I would also offer a non-alcoholic version of the mimosa for those who can’t (or don’t) drink as well as freshly squeezed orange juice.
