Like many other people that are affected by mental illness, when I am going through a rough patch I tend to neglect certain aspects of my personal hygiene, like my teeth. So, naturally, now that I’m starting to feel better again, I decided to invest in my health; Starting with a Philips Sonicare Diamondclean electric toothbrush. Here is my review.
I have long been a believer that electric toothbrushes are the best; they’re superior to manual brushes when it comes to getting your teeth sparkling clean. However, I no longer felt that my trusty Arm & Hammer Spinbrush was giving me the results that I wanted; time to upgrade to a Sonicare.
Sonicare has created a diamond standard of toothbrushes; the diamondclean model features a rechargeable battery, an integrated smartimer and quadpacer, and five brushing modes (Clean, White, Sensitive, Gum Care, Deep Clean – I ordinarily stick with clean or deep clean. However, I have recently started using white). Additionally, this toothbrush comes in a variety of colour options, like Pink, Black, Amethyst, Rose Gold, and White.
I know what you are thinking, “Cool! But this brush is almost $200. What does Philips include with this baby?” Well! Let me tell you. The Sonicare Diamondclean includes a variety of goodies straight from the box, such as:
- USB Charger/Travel case
- Charging Glass
- 3 brush heads (1 x Diamondclean, 1 x Adaptive Clean, 1 x Intercare)
- USB Cable
- Wall Charger
Despite the hefty price tag ($189.99, Amazon.ca), I LOVE my Sonicare Diamonclean! The brush is beautiful, the accessories are superb, and my teeth already appear whiter and feel cleaner than before the switch. I don’t regret my decision to purchase this toothbrush at all; I think that it is perfect. However, if I had to list a minor issue, I would say that the Sonicare takes some getting used to for newbies, which can get a little messy.
Where to buy the Sonicare Diamondclean
