Hello!! Only one more day until the weekend FINALLY arrives; It feels like this week has been dragging on. I hope that you have been well.
Anyways, as you may have noticed, I have been notably absent from this blog and my social media for the last week; mainly because, lately, my sleep/wake times have been a mess due to my anxiety. I had a terrible habit of being awake all night and then sleeping during the day; which, of course, turned into a vicious cycle
Internal Clock Reset …
As a result, I’ve started working on getting myself into a routine like a ‘normal’ person. I’m making this change partly for my health’s sake, and partly because my dog has inexplicably developed a hobby of destroying household objects during the day.
So far, the switch has been going well. However, as I’m adjusting, I’ve been a bit tired; it is a bit like jetlag without the joy of having traveled anywhere (sigh). In the coming weeks, I’ll be sure to write a blog about what has helped me reset my circadian rhythm.
Thank you for your patience, and for your support of this blog. I’m optimistic.
In the meantime, feel free to leave a note in the comments regarding any topic that you would like to see on The Anxious Canadian; I’m always open to suggestions from readers. Your topic can be anxiety-related, or anything to do with lifestyle; I would love to know what you guys want.
