I’m an undeniable Nerd. I was born a nerd, and I will die a nerd. So, to celebrate my geeky side, I thought that I would share my Top Five “Nerd” Loves with all of you.
Top Five “Nerd” Loves
Personally, I came to discover Ghibli through my friend, Sue, who introduced me to two of my favourite films “My Neighbour Totoro” and “When Marnie Was There.”
Recently, I started becoming nostalgic for the needy, electronic pet that universally annoyed every teacher in the 90’s; so, I purchased a couple of the new versions online. I am not ashamed to admit that I still find playing with my Tamagotchi as enjoyable as I did back in the day.
If you read my post awhile back about My Favourite Games for the Nintendo 3DS, you probably already know that I’m a massive Nintendo Geek.
I still have fond memories of my first Nintendo console, a Nintendo 64, that my brother and I received for Christmas one year. It was then that our annual Christmas Eve tradition of playing Mario Kart was born.
However, since that time, I have own multiple newer consoles, including the GameCube, the Wii, the Wii u, the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DSi, the Nintendo 3DS, and the New Nintendo 3DS XL. I hope that one day soon, I’ll be able to get my hands on the Nintendo Switch.
I mean, who Doesn’t love the Doctor.
I adore tuning in to this British Classic every Saturday night to see what adventures that episode brings.
Currently, my absolute favourite episode to-date is Vincent and the Doctor; I can’t watch the episode without shedding a tear.
Last, but not least, we have Adventure Time; which I wholeheartedly blame one of my Australian friends for getting me hooked on.
While not entirely intellectually stimulating, Adventure Time is endearingly weird, which is enough to keep me watching; goodness knows that we could all use a bit of good-natured weirdness in our lives these days.
Now it is your turn. What do you consider to be your “nerd loves?” Leave me a note in the comments and tell me about them.
